Homeschool Programs in Kiln, MS for Ages 3–8

Both. St. Emmelia is a homeschool community run as a microschool — one mixed-age class, a handful of children, and a teacher who knows every one of them by name. We serve homeschool families with children ages 3–8 in Kiln, Mississippi, blending Waldorf, Charlotte Mason, and Classical traditions.

Families drive in from Bay St. Louis, Diamondhead, Waveland, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, Pearlington, Picayune, and Carriere. Most are fifteen to thirty minutes from our Kiln-Delisle Road campus.

When space allows, yes. We keep our class small on purpose, so spots fill — but we're happy to put you on the waitlist and call as soon as one opens.

A water bottle, a change of clothes, and weather-appropriate outdoor layers. We provide everything else, including snacks and lunch.

No screens during the school day. We assess through observation, narration, and the child's actual work — not standardized testing.

Calmly and consistently. Habit training is at the heart of our days; we expect kindness, attention, and effort, and we model it.
